As Laxas Winery counts for the elaboration of its wines with an equipment with the last technologies to obtain the maximum quality and the excellence of all its products, always showing all the qualities of the variety and the expression of the terroir. Currently, an average of 840,000 Kgs of grapes per year enter into the winery, of which 60% comes from their own vineyards and the rest from carefully selected winegrowers. Bágoa do Miño is a white wine made with grapes of the Albariño variety from the “O Pucha” estate, owned by the winery. After a light pressing, 55% of grape must tear is extracted, which after a meticulous cold racking passes to the stainless steel tanks where it ferments at a controlled temperature of 17.5ºC for 10 days. Once fermented and after a rest in deposit, this select wine is filtered and stabilized by cold to be subsequently bottled, which provides good prospects for evolution in the bottle.
