Appearance It is bright and clean, cherry red.
Bouquet: The aromas of red fruit give way to soft toast and spices.
Palate: The palate is direct and alive, but tamed by its long aging in barrel and bottle. A classic and authentic Ribera del Duero red wine.
Trus Winery is surrounded by more than 60 hectares of vineyards in 14 plots within a radius of 2 km of the best Tempranillo at an average height of 800 meters above sea level. It is a unique vineyard with a high limestone concentration, slight slope and perfect exposure. This height and the excellent quality of the soils of this valley, between Pesquera de Duero and Piñel de Abajo, ensure that the grapes used are of the highest quality. In addition, an integrated winery has been built in the landscape for the creation of great wines, with selection tables of grapes to only elaborate the highest quality fruit, barrels and French oak wood deposits (fudres), which allow to elaborate the wines by plot, getting that all the wines of the Trus Winery have very marked the personality of the land where the vineyards are planted. The wines of Trus are a quality insurance and enjoyment in each bottle that we open. A paradise in the center of the Ribera del Duero that helps us understand the success and fame that the wines of this Denomination of Origin have throughout the world. The manual harvest gives way to prolonged and intense macerations and to a 20-month aging in French oak barrels. Later ripening in wooden for its perfect assembly. It is the winemaker’s criterion that the wines ripen in bottle for a long time to reach the greatest roundness and complexity (reserves of around 3 years and aging for not less than 1 year). We are facing a very complex and intense wine in each and every one of the tasting phases.
